I'm lucky enough to have a great view of Bangs Lake in Wauconda. Last night as I watched the moon rise and the sun set, I was reminded of our Good Lord's amazing sense of beauty.
There is nothing like spending a perfect summer day on a lake.
If this is your dream, you're in luck. There are quite a few houses that are either on a lake, or part of a lake neighborhood, that are having open houses today.
One of these neighborhoods is Countryside Lake in Mundelein. This is a hidden gem of luxury homes around a really nice, 140 acre clean lake perfect for an electric pontoon boat, swimming and fishing. Many of my colleagues are having open houses there today, Sunday, July 9. Go check them out.
I'll also have my lake house open that is on Bangs Lake today from 1-3 pm.
